The Dual Heritage

We are architects of systems, combining academic discovery with production engineering.

With roots in academic computer science and industrial systems engineering, we develop robust software architectures for enterprises and public institutions based on in-house applied R&D.

The Empirical Manifesto

Core operating principles.

01

Empirical First

Hypotheses must be measured. We do not guess system throughput, latency, or model accuracy; we construct test suites, benchmark real workloads, and inspect empirical metrics.

02

Architectural Clarity

We select the simplest, most resilient architecture that solves the problem. We actively reject unnecessary dependencies, redundant microservices, and speculative hype.

03

Sovereignty by Design

We believe organisations must retain sovereign control over their core data, underlying compute, and business logic.

04

Pedagogical Dedication

Deep engineering knowledge must be shared. We remain committed to mentoring young talent, supporting scientific initiatives, and building with open standards.

The Philosophy

Where peer-reviewed science meets production code.

Modern software development often suffers from an architectural divide: academic research regularly produces breakthrough algorithms that remain trapped in unscalable proof-of-concept scripts, while enterprise software engineering frequently deploys commoditised tools without understanding the underlying computational mechanics.

We operate directly at the intersection. Our background spans senior software engineering in high-throughput enterprise environments and doctoral-level academic research. We write software that runs cleanly under production load, built on foundations that survive scientific peer review.
